Lost in My Thoughts -

So yeah, I have nothing to say. Chernin told me to rant about Dark Water, so I think I will. Ok, first off I must say that I was warned against seeing this movie by my cuz and my sis. But I couldn't change my friend's minds, so I just went along. Ok, the whole plot was that they move into this broken down apartment that no one in their right mind would touch and then when the apartment starts leaking and the people don't fix it, they stay there. Um, if I was in that situation, I would have left the moment I saw the building. It's a ratty old place that I would hate to call home. And more about the movie, the ending was so weird. I swear that I missed something in there. Either that, or the plot skipped around so much you couldn't keep track of it! I rarely ever get confused. But that really confused me. And I mean a LOT! So, what was the deal with the water anyway? I mean, the water was dark, but it looked more like mud then blood or anything scary. Ooo, muddy water, coming after me, I'm scared now... So yeah. I think that if you're going to go pay five bucks to be scared out of your mind at a movie, you might as well actually get scared by it! Ok, I can't talk, but it really wasn't all that scary. I mean, at least War of the Worlds made me come out of there thinking and looking over my shoulder. I got over this one before the credits started. A good horror movie will relate to your life so you can't forget it. Making connections and keeping you thinking about it for months afterwards. This was NOT a good horror movie and it was easily forgotten. The frights were short and superfical. So if you are in a position to see it, don't. The movie itself (away from the horror part) had no plot. I fould myself at the end of the movie wondering what the hell I was watching about. I mean, I could leave the theater for ten minutes and not miss anything. It didn't tie together and wrap up loose ends.

So I'm done ranting on that. Tomorrow morning I will be in for pain. First I have a therapist appointment, then in the early afternoon my friend is talking me out for a haircut and (here's the painful part) eyebrow waxing. YEOUCH! So yeah. And when I get contacts on the 29th, then I will be (hopefully) better looking then I am now. So this will be entertaining.

Softball tourney starting tomorrow! HECK YES! We play the winless team to start it off (and we've already beat them twice) so it will be an easy win. Cuz their team just doesn't try at all, so yeah. Then we'll play at 10 something on Saturday. So great. Ok, and I'm tired. I have to be up early!
